Savoy Safe n.23

Northern Italian small size hobnail safe, dated around 1840/1850, found in the Piedmont region.

 

The safe presents a beautifully decorated front door with  the hidden key hole release situated on the left and that is activated with the two keys and a special hobnail movement to unlock the locking mechanism and open the safe.

 

The interior of the safe features a special edition of 3 Scatola del Tempo® watch winders in the XXL version as well as an amazing mirror glass in the back to allow the view of the winding mechanism.

 

Dimensions are 40cmH x 50cmW x 35cmD.

Weight is approx. 30 kgs.
